Soundwaves of Love is...
- a safe place for those who struggle recovering from mental illness, addictions, and spiritual conflict and combats.
- a place to feel welcome in the Body of Christ despite these struggles
- a place where our mission is to break the stigma around these things in the Church
- a place for encouragement, where we help to give ideas for coping skills, shine the light of hope in dark places
- and finally a social place to meet other people who understand where you’re at, because they have been there!
Soundwaves of Love is not…
- a place to speak on LGBT+, race problems, and basically any minority other than mental illness and the like.
- a place to talk about gun violence, things on the news, or political views
- a place to put any view down in malicious intent.
- a place for pill-shaming, no shaming of any coping skill
- a place to make fun of self-harmers or those who have attempted or considered suicide
